Using Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Clinical Hypnosis to enable clients to make permanent changes and achieve their goals, Simon Simpson runs a busy and successful practice in Surrey. Simon divides his time between seeing private clients at his consulting rooms in Esher and Hampton Court and treating patients in Devonshire Place, London, and at The Priory Hospital Woking.

Simon worked for a number of years in the Architectural Design industry (his first degree being in Industrial Design) before changing to pursue a career based on his long-held interest in psychology, and the power of the mind.

Simon began his psychotherapy training with the National College of Hypnosis and Psychotherapy at the Brook Hospital in London in the early 1990s. Following three years of part-time study he was awarded a postgraduate diploma with distinction in Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy.

Simon went on to gain an Advanced Diploma in CBT Counselling, and after further training, completed a Masters degree in Rational Emotive Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (REBT) at Goldsmiths, University of London.

Simon is a fully accreditated CBT therapist with the BABCP (the governing organisation of Cognitive Behavioural therapists). He is a registered provider of therapy with BUPA, AXA-PPP, Standard Life and other health insurers. As well as the BABCP, Simon is a member of several professional bodies, including, the UKCP (the principal body that regulates the psychotherapy profession), and the National Register of Hypnotherapists and Psychotherapists (NRHP), and as such is bound by their codes of conduct. As with all members of the BABCP, UKCP, and NRHP he is committed to ongoing supervision and to the continued development of his skills and knowledge through Continued Professional Development programmes.
